Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys working directly with employees and management to make a difference in the workplace? Ambassador Personnel is looking for an HR Business Partner in Newton, KS! This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in employee relations who enjoys a hands-on HR role in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime business hours (7:30-8:00 AM start)
Location: Newton, KS
What You'll Do
- Handle employee relations concerns, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Work closely with management to address employee issues and provide HR guidance.
- Assist with performance management, employee engagement, and retention efforts.
- Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance with employment laws.
- Assist with employee training, development, and onboarding programs.
- Provide guidance to supervisors regarding employee performance and workplace concerns.
- Support workforce planning and organizational changes.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety policies.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and assist with HR projects and initiatives.
- Build positive working relationships with employees and management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of Human Resources and employee relations experience.
- Strong experience handling employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Experience working with supervisors and management to resolve employee concerns.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must be available to work on-site in Newton, KS.
Preferred but Not Required
- HR experience in manufacturing, industrial, production, or distribution environments.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience using Workday.
