Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a General Manager based at one of Maya Hotels' properties in Charlotte, NC. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including staff management, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and compliance with organizational and brand standards. This role will involve strategic planning, ensuring operational efficiency, implementing marketing initiatives to drive revenue, and developing team members to deliver exceptional service and meet organizational goals. The General Manager will also actively communicate with corporate leadership, build relationships with franchise partners, and provide solutions to optimize hotel performance.


Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in hotel management and hospitality operations
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and revenue forecasting
  • Excellent skills in team development, conflict resolution, and staff motivation
  • Proficiency in implementing marketing strategies and driving guest satisfaction
  • Familiarity with brand standards for Hilton, IHG, or Marriott is highly advantageous
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including franchisors, investors, and staff
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry preferred
  • Flexibility to work on-site and address urgent operational matters as needed
