ProTrade is now hiring for a Field Service Technician! ProTrade is looking for a hands-on professional with experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in an industrial environment.
Position Summary:
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in servicing customer accounts, resolving technical issues on-site, and supporting field operations. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative service team.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform field-based troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Maintain detailed documentation of hours worked, repairs completed, and parts used

Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, sales, and contractors to ensure high-quality service

Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial mechanical and fluid handling systems

Provide timely, professional customer service across the assigned territory

Remain on-call for emergency service needs on a rotating basis

Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and site regulations
Requirements:

Formal training or education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering disciplines (Bachelor’s preferred)

5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting

Working knowledge of fabrication, metals, welding, electrical controls, and mechanical systems

Proficient in using web-based computer systems and digital documentation tools

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record

Must be physically able to lift heavy objects, climb, and stand for extended periods
-
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Work Environment:

Outdoor and industrial facility work environments

Requires physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
