Job Title: Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician
Company Overview
Drug Test Compliance (DTC) is a technology-driven provider of drug and alcohol testing and compliance services for employers nationwide. We support both Department of Transportation(DOT)-regulated and non-regulated programs, delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant testing solutions.
Position Summary
The Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician is responsible for conducting specimen collections and alcohol testing in accordance with federal regulations and company protocols. This role involves working both in our clinic and traveling to client sites to perform on-site testing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform urine and oral fluid (saliva) specimen collections following established procedures
- Conduct breath alcohol testing (BAT) using approved devices
- Ensure all collections comply with applicable regulations (e.g., DOT guidelines)
- Complete and maintain accurate Chain of Custody Forms (CCF) and related documentation
- Package and ship specimens to certified laboratories
- Maintain proper handling, storage, and security of specimens
- Provide professional, courteous service to clients and donors
- Travel to client locations to perform mobile/on-site testing services
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration where required
- Communicate effectively with internal staff and client representatives
Qualifications
- Prior experience in drug and alcohol testing preferred (training can be provided)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer skills required (data entry, forms, communication systems)
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (required)
- Willingness to travel to various client locations
- Flexible schedule, including occasional early mornings or evenings
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
