The Make Ready Technician plays a vital role within the maintenance crew by preparing and maintaining properties to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This position involves a blend of hands-on maintenance repairs, cleaning, inspection, and efficient communication with customers. Using various tools and maintenance management software, the technician ensures properties are ready for occupancy without requiring travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare properties for new occupancy through thorough cleaning and maintenance
• Perform maintenance repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks
• Inspect properties to identify issues and ensure safety compliance
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Handle usage of standard hand tools, power tools, and maintenance management software
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
• Communicate occasionally with tenants or customers to address concerns or updates
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations at job sites

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in property maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and safety procedures
• Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
