The IT System Administrator III – CRMmanages NUC University’s Dynamics 365 environment and the applications implemented within the environment. The role is responsible for the configuration and customization of the applications in use to ensure they continue to meet business requirements, performing administrative duties to ensure the platform is conforming to best practices, and monitoring the platform to ensure data integrity, security, and system performance are all performing at optimal levels.
Key Tasks:
- Oversees the implementation, management, and optimization of NUC University's Dynamics 365 environment
- Ensures NUC University's Dynamics 365 environment is reliable, scalable, and aligned with the university's needs, with a focus on high performance and security
- Supports the implementation of system enhancements and new features
- Investigates production incidents and resolve defects following application change and release management processes
- Monitors and address system performance issues
- Ensures data integrity through validation rules, audits, and maintenance tasks
- Works with IT Staff to setup new users and assign access to the Dynamics 365 application
- Handles updates, patches, and integration management
- Implementation customizations and configuration of Tables, Power Automate Flows, Dashboards, and Reports based on evolving business requirements
- Maintains Plugins, Custom APIs, Canvas App, Power Pages, and JavaScript developed for the custom applications
- Supports the build and release cycles using Azure DevOps for the deployment of changes to applications deployed in the different environments
- Develops technical and user documentation
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or information systems
- 5+ Years of hands-on experience with the administration and development of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Customer Insights (formerly Microsoft Dynamics Marketing) applications
- Knowledge of security, compliance and data governance best practices
- Experience managing users, security roles, and business units within a Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics CRM including working with Dataverse, Power Automate, Plugins, JavaScript, and Canvas Apps
- A thorough understanding of using both managed and unmanaged solutions with an automated Application Lifecycle deployment process
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps ALM including the use of repositories and configuring Build and Release pipelines for a Dynamics 365/Power Platform environment
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to CRM – C#, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with REST APIs and data integration best practices
- Knowledge of Power Pages Portals is a plus
- Obtained the PL-200 or PL-400 certifications is a plus
