Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level to Senior Associate with strong litigation experience to join our Workplace Class Action Practice. This role focuses on developing strategy, managing discovery, drafting dispositive motions and briefs, preparing for and taking depositions, and collaborating with partners and senior counsel to achieve efficient, client-focused results in high-stakes class and wage-and-hour matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of class and collective action litigation under the supervision of partners, including developing case strategy, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and responding to dispositive motions.

  • Work closely with colleagues across the labor and employment practice to advise clients on wage-and-hour compliance, policies, and audits that affect class liability and defenses.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior associates and paralegals; manage staffing, budgets, and timelines on complex matters.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates, practical legal advice, and clear cost expectations while advancing strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience as an attorney, with substantial experience in class, collective, or multi-plaintiff employment litigation preferred.
  • Demonstrated courtroom and motion practice experience, including drafting and arguing dispositive motions, class certification/decertification papers, and appellate briefs.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail in drafting complex legal documents and managing discovery and evidentiary issues.
  • Experience with e-discovery platforms, document review workflows, and coordinating with litigation support teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Nice-to-have: direct experience or substantial familiarity with labor and employment law, class action procedures, wage-and-hour litigation, and related compliance counseling.
  • Proven client service orientation, strong organizational skills, and demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience on litigation teams.
