Absolute Landscapes is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, keeping financial information organized, and taking ownership of their work. The Staff Accountant will support accounts payable and receivable, monthly close, reconciliations, job costing, and internal reporting while working closely with our management and operations teams.
What You’ll Do\n

- Support the monthly financial close and preparation of internal financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate job costing and help ensure expenses and revenue are recorded correctly.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process customer payments, invoices, vendor bills, and subcontractor billing.
- Complete bank, credit card, and vendor statement reconciliations.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections.
- Prepare regular financial and accounting reports for management.
- Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support contract entry and other accounting-related administrative functions.
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members.
- Provide backup office and administrative support when needed.
- Help maintain accurate documentation, financial controls, and confidential company information.

What We’re Looking For\n
- \n
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of related accounting experience or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and follow through on deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with financial systems, databases, and detailed financial information.
- Ability to handle confidential company and financial information with discretion.

Pay Range: $55,000 – $75,000/year
