We have a fantastic staff, and we are looking to hire one more Nutritionist /Dietitian who wants to be part of this dynamic team. If you are interested in a full-time position and becoming specialized in Obesity, Bariatric, and Lifestyle Medicine, then this is the place for you!
We are a small clinic located in Foxboro, MA and due to clinic growth, we are looking for a Dietitian to work full-time in our specialty clinic. The Dietitian will work with a multi-disciplinary team.
The Nutritionist / Dietitian follows the medical protocol set forth by New Horizon Medical and is Licensed by the state of Massachusetts. The Dietitian works closely with Head Dietitian and Practitioners in delivering customized diet plans that are within the protocols of NHM and promote weight loss to each individual patient.
Jobs Responsibilities
· Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement weight loss-care plans.
· Consult with Head Dietitian and Nurse Practitioner to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions for patient.
· Advise patients on nutritional principles, dietary plans, diet modification, food selection and preparation.
· Counsel patients and staff on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring.
· Motivate individuals to begin and continue with their healthy weight loss behaviors.
· Help with patient calls.
· Communicates directly with Head Dietitian and Practitioners
· Alerts Head Dietitian of any supplies needed.
· Document patient progress notes in the EMR.
· Conduct consultations as needed.
· Perform other clinical duties as needed.
· Conduct follow-up calls with patients to discuss progress and address any concerns as needed.
· Follows Weight Loss protocols set by New Horizon Medical
Requirements
Massachusetts State License

- Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and Department of Public Health regulations.

- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $46,080 to $53,000 yearly
