Harkcon is seeking a Journeyman SharePoint Administrator to support collaboration and information-sharing platforms for DHS Science & Technology (S&T). This position is contingent upon contract award and is expected to begin in March 2026.
This role is hybrid, and candidates must be based in or able to commute to the Washington, DC area to support system coordination, stakeholder engagement, and on-site needs. Travel funding is not provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, libraries, and workflows
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Manage SharePoint permissions, content updates, and daily operations
- Develop dashboards, forms, and workflows to support business processes
- Ensure compliance with SharePoint best practices and records management standards
- Provide technical troubleshooting and end-user support
- Support SharePoint upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver intuitive, user-friendly solutions
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration
- Skills: Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Power BI, and related tools; strong problem-solving skills
- Security: Ability to obtain an affirmative DHS Suitability determination
