Requirements:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) operations.
- Understanding of store policies, payment procedures, and return/exchange guidelines.
- Awareness of Butterfield Market’s products, departments, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and money-handling principles.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and cleanliness standards in a retail or food market setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
