Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Securities Litigation Associate with 4+ years of experience to join its elite Securities Litigation and White Collar practice. This is a unique opportunity to litigate high-stakes matters for some of the world’s most innovative technology and life sciences companies.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience in securities litigation, regulatory investigations, or white-collar defense
Experience with matters such as:
• Securities class actions, derivative suits, or merger litigation
• DOJ/SEC investigations or regulatory enforcement
• Internal investigations and compliance issues (e.g., FCPA, whistleblower claims)
Strong oral and written advocacy skills
Superior academic credentials
Admission to the Bar (or eligibility) in the state where the candidate will practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent public companies, directors, and officers in complex civil and securities litigation

  • Defend clients in DOJ and SEC investigations and regulatory actions

  • Conduct internal investigations and advise special or audit committees on high-stakes matters

  • Work closely with partners and senior attorneys in all phases of litigation and investigatory matters

  • Engage with innovative clients in technology and life sciences industries

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $310,000 – $445,000 (commensurate with experience, location, and qualifications)
Discretionary performance-based bonus eligibility
