The concept was spawned by John & Lori Lecker who had owned United Colors of Benetton stores in the southeast for over 30 years & realized there was a giant niche in the market for contemporary comfortable looks with a great fit for the middle age + women.
We are seeking a passionate and creative Fashion Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in fashion styling and product management to provide exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for guiding customers in their fashion choices, ensuring they feel confident and stylish. Your knowledge of garment construction, color theory, and the latest trends will be essential in helping clients curate their wardrobes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized fashion advice and styling services to clients based on their individual preferences and needs.
- Assist clients in selecting clothing, accessories, and footwear that enhance their personal style.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, styles, and seasonal collections to offer informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with the design team to manage product lines and ensure alignment with market demands.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software to create visual presentations for client consultations.
- Conduct fittings and alterations as necessary, ensuring garments are tailored perfectly for each client.
- Maintain an organized inventory of products and assist in merchandising displays within the retail environment.
- Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fashion retail or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of fashion styling principles, garment construction, and color theory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite applications is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with product management processes within the fashion industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others express their personal style.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of sewing techniques is a plus but not required.
