Company Description: The Moreland School District serves students from preschool through 8th grade across three cities in Santa Clara County. Our teachers educate approximately 3,800 students in four elementary schools, two TK-8 schools, and one middle school. Role Description: The Personnel Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose. This position supports the Human Resources function by coordinating day-to-day personnel activities, including employee onboarding, records management, and HR documentation. The Personnel Specialist assists with developing and updating job descriptions, maintaining accurate personnel files, and ensuring compliance with district policies and relevant regulations. The role involves supporting program management efforts within HR, such as training initiatives, performance-related processes, and staffing projects. Daily responsibilities include responding to employee inquiries, preparing reports, collaborating with school and district leaders, and supporting clear communication between HR and staff across the district.
