Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a safe, efficient, and organized manner. This entry-level position plays a key role in receiving, storing, and shipping products while maintaining a clean and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general inventory tasks, including cycle counts, stock organization, and discrepancy reporting, to ensure accurate inventory records.

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, verifying shipment accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders.

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to work orders, ensuring correct quantities, items, and packaging standards are met.

• Create and print shipping labels using company systems, verifying accuracy of addresses, carrier selections, and tracking information.

• Operate standard warehouse equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks; must be able to obtain certification to operate a forklift (training provided).

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment through regular housekeeping duties, including sweeping, disposal of waste materials, and keeping aisles clear.

• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times; participate in required safety training and report any unsafe conditions immediately.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED

• Basic computer literacy required — ability to navigate warehouse management systems, enter data accurately, and create shipping labels.

• Prior warehouse and or distribution experience.

• Ability to obtain forklift certification upon hire (company-sponsored training provided).

• Solid understanding of or willingness to learn safety protocols in a warehouse environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions, including temperature fluctuations.

• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is performed in a warehouse environment. Associates may be exposed to varying temperatures and moving equipment.
