Job Description

This position covers two main areas of responsibility: Site Logistics and Studio Operations.

The successful candidate will possess highly efficient information gathering, planning, and scheduling skills, as well as the demonstrated ability to coordinate with internal and external service providers and manage budget planning and invoicing\booking reconciliation. A key function of this role centers on the ability to effectively apply project management disciplines as it relates to rehearsal/event operational activities; as well logistics and a working knowledge of trailers, containers, and chassis; including storage and movement.Essential Functions:

  • Project management of planned rehearsals/events as it relates to provided facilities services.
  • Project management of site logistics and scheduling, including that of trailers, chassis, containers, and offsite storage lots.
  • Budget management; invoicing and billing.
  • Managing multiple events and activities across multiple internal support organizations and 3rd party service providers.
  • Using software applications to record, communicate and provide timely information.

Qualifications:

  • Technical school diploma or college degree in Business Administration or Project Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leading an organization in a large facility and/or logistics/transportation field and live entertainment industry.
  • Valid CDL license, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift experience, preferred but not required.

Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of event/show production including load-in/load-out processes; any experience with rigging, lighting, sound, or other production/event experience.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing and managing multiple projects and operations with no direct supervision.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Vectorworks and database applications.
  • Capable of interacting in a professional manner with higher level management.
  • Ability to prioritize and to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Maintain appropriate standard of conduct, appearance, and workmanship.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
