CDL Class A/B Vac Truck Operator – Akron, OH

Pay: $30–$40/hr + Overtime

We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A or B Vac Truck Operator to join our team in Akron, OH. This position involves operating automatic vacuum trucks and performing industrial cleaning, hydro-excavation, and waste transportation services at various job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain automatic vacuum trucks and related equipment
• Perform hydro-excavation, tank cleaning, line flushing, and industrial cleaning services
• Load, transport, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials including liquids, sludge, and solids
• Operate vacuum hoses and pumping systems
• Transport materials to approved disposal and treatment facilities
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license
• Air Brake endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required
• Vac Truck experience required
• Minimum 1 year CDL driving experience
• Automatic transmission experience preferred
• Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Travel to multiple job sites throughout the area
• Overtime and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
• Ability to work around heavy equipment, noise, and industrial materials
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
