Job Description# NOW HIRING: PRESS OPERATOR IN TRAINING
**Production Department**
**Pay Based on Experience**
**Starts on 1st Shift Moves to Off-Shift Once Trained**
Looking for an opportunity to learn a specialized manufacturing skill and grow with a company? We are looking for a **reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator in Training** to join our production team!
**Please Note:** This is a **printing press operation position**, NOT a plastics press. The press is also used to **insert RFID inlays** into printed products.
### WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Press Operator in Training, you will learn to safely and efficiently operate a specialized printing press while producing quality products.
Learn to set up and operate a printing press
Assist with loading and unloading material rolls and RFID inlays
Learn roll splicing and web preparation
Assist with press setup, adjustments, and changeovers
Monitor the press during production
Learn to identify and correct production issues
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Assist with RFID inlay insertion and verification
Remove, label, and stage finished products
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety and production procedures
### QUALITY & PRODUCTION
The Press Operator in Training will learn to:
Read and follow job specifications
Verify materials before production
Monitor print quality and product accuracy
Identify defects and make adjustments as needed
Properly handle RFID inlays and finished products
Maintain production standards and minimize waste
### WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Manufacturing or production experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
Comfortable learning new equipment and processes
### GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GROW!
This position **starts on 1st shift for training**. Once you are fully trained and comfortable operating the equipment, the position will **move to an off-shift schedule**.
Previous printing press, manufacturing, web handling, RFID, or machine operating experience is a plus, but **the right candidate can be trained!**
