Job Description

Job DescriptionLHH is recruiting a legal assistant for a Minneapolis law firm. The legal assistant will support attorneys with Intellectual Property matters.
Responsibilities:

  • rovide broad legal administrative support, including calendar oversight, scheduling meetings, handling routine correspondence, and coordinating travel and appointments.
  • Prepare and edit legal correspondence and documents, and basic document manipulation.
  • Maintain and organize electronic client files, including regular filing of emails and attachments.
  • Manage processing of invoices and related record-keeping.
  • Process conflict checks, engagement agreements, and initiate new client intake promptly and accurately.
  • Track and organize receipt and expense submissions.
  • Monitor and maintain attorney professional memberships, CLE reporting and license renewals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an assistant to patent attorneys, agent, or paralegals.
  • Experience filing documents with the US Patent Office.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining form correspondence and document templates.
  • Experience in providing administrative support functions.
  • Experience with the following software: iManage, InTapp.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
