Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available in a school setting located in Uniontown, AL, seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide telespeech services and support school-based speech therapy needs. This role involves approximately 14 hours per week, focusing on relieving billing SLPA responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver telespeech therapy sessions to students as prescribed
- Support speech-language services within the school environment
- Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist with documentation and reporting related to therapy sessions
- Contribute to billing support by alleviating workload for the SLPA
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP or appropriate credentials for SLPA
- Experience with school-based speech-language pathology services
- Ability to provide telespeech therapy effectively
- Knowledge of school environment protocols and student confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
