Dining Services Manager - HIRE AHEAD

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dining Services Manager to oversee all aspects of dining services for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising dietary staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and creating a pleasant dining experience that meets the nutritional needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, schedule, and support dietary staff

• Conduct staff training and ongoing coaching

• Monitor staff performance and ensure accountability

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and assist with recruitment and retention efforts

• Foster a positive and teamwork-oriented environment

• Oversee preparation and service of three daily meals and snacks

• Ensure meal service is timely, efficient, and resident-focused

• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control

• Ensure adequate coverage for Assisted Living and Memory Care dining services

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of two years of food service experience

• Previous supervisory or management experience

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to lead and motivate a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Healthcare, or Hospitality

• ServSafe Certification or equivalent

• Experience with special diets and senior nutrition

• Culinary training or dietary management experience

Schedule:

• Full-Time

• Primarily daytime hours with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Participation in an on-call rotation may be required
