Spectra Tech, LLC, is currently looking for a Supply Technician - Equipment t to work on a government project at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland. This position is full-time and onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG).ResponsibilitiesMonitors and analyzes Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to determine the accuracy of all accountability recordsContact representatives of commercial firms to obtain information regardingnew items of supply based on Government requisitionsCreates reports referencing accountability of the vehicle fleet (ARL wide) to include mileage, maintenance, and utilization in accordance with Army regulations and policiesInitiates various transactions to update various databases (e.g., DPAS, Turnin database)Collects necessary data to take or recommend action based on application or interpretation of guidesPrepares accountable documents for regulatory inventoriesIdentifies discrepancies (from completed inventories and supporting documentation) and reconciles inventory results with hand receipt holdersEnsures all documentation is complete and accurate to maintain property accountability as required by AR 710-2Reviews and provides approval for excess documentation in accordance with ARL Turn-in databaseExamine equipment to verify cataloging data (e.g., nomenclature, manufacture, model, serial number) to ensure items are properly identified for formal property accountabilityResponsible for all file maintenance to include maintaining a file for each non- accountable document number assigned (by either the Government or Contractor) in accordance with DPAS regulationsPosts transactions to databases including DPAS, Turn-In database, Logistics Database FolderAnalyzes completed data provided, comprehends, and updates DPAS by entering utilization information provided from trip tickets to maintenance module within DPAS) with monthly trip ticket dataInitiates maintenance work orders based on user requests, equipment manager direction, or maintenance schedule report for production and services equipment (PS&E)Creates maintenance reports for using and maintaining Government owned mobile and production equipmentEstablish automated records by building skeleton records by entering pertinent mandatory data into DPAS, maintenance module for PS&E and mobile equipmentReports excess information by an automated system to Government POCPrepares supply forms (automated and manual)Assists in the scheduling and coordination of vehicle maintenance (semi and annual)Responsible for creating and dispatching equipment utilizing DPASOperates computers (desktop PC) to complete tasks associated with DPASOperates telephone (to include answering phone and taking messages)Operates office machines to include but not limited to copy and facsimile machinesProvides on-the-job training to other contractor personnel Required QualificationsU.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret ClearanceHigh school diplomaMinimum of one (1) year of general office experience (Relevant college courses or training may be substituted for experience)Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and WordAbility to communicate orally and in writingExperience operating standard office equipment, to include telephones, copy machine, scanners, facsimile machine, computers, printers, and shreddersAbility to obtain ammunition certification via Government trainingAbility to learn how to utilize software, hardware, and peripherals required to operate inventory accountability systemsCapable of learning the supply systems, programs, policies, work methods and established guidelinesPhysical RequirementsSit for long periods of time and repeat the same movementsFull range of body motion, including handling and lifting up to 70 pounds, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordinationRequires vision and hearing corrected within normal rangeRequires standing and walking for extensive periods of times to store, retrieve, and deliver suppliesWe are an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action employer.
