12-month renewable contract in Orlando, FL.

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

Active Secret Clearance is Required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

•Must have an active Secret Clearance

• 3+ years’ experience with common lab equipment: Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies

• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office applications

• 3+ years’ experience with Electronic Testing

• 3+ years’ experience with User Acceptance Testing

• 3+ years’ experience with Electrical Troubleshooting

• 3+ years’ experience with Mechanical/Electrical Concepts

• 3+ years’ experience writing technical documents and end-user documentation

• 3+ years’ experience with Evaluating Technical Reports

• 1+ years’ experience with Engineering Design Principles

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans and procedures

• Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events

• Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for program hardware

• Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing

• Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing test equipment

• Prepare for and Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and final reports/presentations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Ability to analyze complex designs & create test solutions that optimize quality/cost/schedule variables.

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and able to communicate effectively with external customer and internal leadership about technical status/issues.

• Familiar with uncommon lab equipment: pressure and vacuum chambers, optical measurement equipment

• Foundational knowledge of troubleshooting analog and digital electronics

• Experienced writing skills for Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Reports.

Accredited HSD/GED
