Job Description
A Leading Manufacturing Company located in Union County, NJ is searching for a Senior Accountant who will have the following responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day general ledger activity in a hands-on environment.
- Prepare and post journal entries; maintain supporting documentation.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and assist in the review of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
- Support internal financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist with inventory accounting, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
- Partner with operations on production costs and inventory accuracy.
- Assist with external audits and provide requested documentation.
- Help improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies.

Qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant role should possess:

- \n
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required.
\n

The total compensation range for this opportunity is $70,000 to $75,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits.
