Job Title: Director of Project Office
Location: Remote Reports to: VP of Client Services Compensation: $110,000 to $125,000 annual salary, based on experience Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some nights and weekends as needed Benefit: Full benefits package, including health, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, holidays, disability, and life insurance, and more!
We are currently seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Director of Project Office to build and lead our first-ever Project Office function. As the Director of Project Office, you'll design and implement scalable project management systems, tools, and processes from the ground up, aligning client delivery with business strategy and ensuring operational excellence across teams.
What you will be doing:
- Build BxB's first-ever Project Office function-design its purpose, scope, and operating model.
- Define and roll out project management standards, tools, workflows, and meeting rhythms across all client service areas.
- Create playbooks and processes for project lifecycle management, scope tracking, QA, burn reporting, change orders, and retrospectives.
- Lead priority projects hands-on until additional PMs are hired, then define and lead the PM team, including hiring, onboarding, and coaching.
- Train and mentor team members on project management best practices and structured workflows.
- Partner with leadership to manage resource allocation, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Evaluate and implement PM software, automation tools, and reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Creative, Dev, Paid Media, and Coaching teams to align delivery with client expectations.
- Monitor project health, surface risks, and recommend operational improvements.
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years in project management roles within marketing, digital, or creative agencies.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Bonus: Experience with resource planning tools, rev ops/workflow automation, or CRM/ServiceTitan integration.
- Fluent in project management software (ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, etc.) and advanced Microsoft Office/Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of agency operations and integrated service delivery (web, content, paid media, CRM/MarTech).
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational skills, with the ability to lead change and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution and build and mentor high-performing teams.
