What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Healthcare Project Manager to align healthcare project deliverables with business goals, manage administrative functions, generate reports, develop detailed work plans, achieve milestones, and communicate results effectively to key internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of program or project management experience, including project planning, scheduling, reporting, hiring and orientation, data analytics, and communications.
- Be skilled in leveraging advanced computer and analytical tools to support healthcare project initiatives.
- Manage projects and activities for the Provider Network Management department, ensuring alignment of deliverables with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to improve departmental processes and workflows.
- Ensure departmental compliance with all applicable Federal and State rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, estimates, resource allocations, risk management plans, and status reports.
- Oversee projects from initiation through completion, monitoring progress and providing regular updates to leadership.
- Conduct project meetings, track deliverables, and facilitate weekly briefings.
- Identify project issues, develop solutions, delegate tasks, and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of provider network management processes, including credentialing, claims processing, contracting, and Medicaid/Medicare requirements.
- Deliver clear and concise project reporting to department leaders as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
- Minimum of five (5) years of administrative healthcare management experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare credentialing, claims processing, provider network management, Medicaid and/or Medicare, and contracting.
- Proven leadership ability with the skills to motivate teams and achieve departmental goals.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
