Job DescriptionLocation: Colonie Golf & Country Club (Voorheesville, NY)
Dates: June 29 – August 7, 2026 (Weekdays)
Hours: Approx. 8:00am–4:30pm daily
Type: Seasonal / Short-Term
Compensation: $17–$18.50/hr (based on experience)

Camp Colonie is hiring strong leaders to help run our high-energy, outdoor summer camp program. This is a hands-on leadership role working with campers entering Kindergarten through Sixth Grade in a setting built around sports, teamwork, and active programming. If you enjoy coaching, mentoring, leading games, and being outdoors — this is not a sit-at-a-desk job. This is a role for someone who likes to move. Our campers rotate through golf, tennis, swimming, team challenges, themed competitions, and field-style games throughout the week. What You’ll Do• Lead and manage camper groups during sports and activity rotations• Support and supervise counselors• Run structured games and field activities• Assist with swimming supervision and transitions• Maintain strong group control and positive team culture• Communicate clearly with staff and occasionally with parents• Ensure safety standards and DOH guidelines are followed• Assist with daily setup, breakdown, and logistics What We’re Looking For• Experience coaching, working with youth sports, camp, recreation, or athletics preferred• Strong leadership presence and ability to manage groups confidently• Comfortable being active outdoors in summer conditions• CPR/AED certified (or ability to obtain before camp begins)• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented• Must pass required background checks Colonie Golf & Country Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
