Systems & IT Manager
We are looking for a Systems & IT Manager to own and scale the systems that power our operations across eCommerce, warehouse, and internal workflows.
This is a hands-on management role focused on systems, execution, and continuous improvement across the business. While IT infrastructure is part of the role, the primary focus is on business systems, workflows, integrations, and driving efficiency across teams.

Focus Camera is a fast-growing eCommerce and retail company operating across multiple marketplaces, including Amazon, Shopify, and other platforms, along with our own internal systems.
Our operations are driven by systems, automation, and speed. We are continuously improving how we manage inventory, orders, content, and workflows across the company. As we evolve, we are also exploring and rolling out AI tools to improve efficiency, decision-making, and execution across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage core systems:
o ERP (current and future)
o Internal platform (SPEX)
o Marketplace and website integrations
- Lead system improvements, automations, and new initiatives across departments
- Manage and prioritize internal ticketing across teams, ensuring clear ownership and execution
- Work directly with operations teams (warehouse, content, customer service, purchasing) to improve workflows and solve problems
- Oversee internal development:
o Translate business needs into system requirements
o Work with developers to execute and deliver solutions
- Drive AI adoption across the company:
o Identify opportunities to use AI tools to improve efficiency
o Help implement and standardize AI usage across teams
- Manage IT function:
o Oversee system administration (user access, onboarding/offboarding, hardware, tools)
o Ensure strong cybersecurity practices and system reliability
o Manage IT-related tools and expenses
- Ensure systems support key workflows:
o Inventory and order management
o FBA and warehouse operations
o Multi-channel eCommerce operations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with ERP or systems such as SellerCloud, NetSuite, Acumatica, or similar
- Strong understanding of eCommerce operations, inventory, and order workflows
- Experience managing systems, integrations, or internal tools
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects across departments
- Experience working with developers and external vendors
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on execution
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and security (not a hands-on IT role)
Work Environment
- 4 days per week in our Brooklyn office
- Fridays work from home
- Travel required for site visits to our North Brunswick warehouse
Compensation
- Salary up to $150,000, based on experience
Important Note
This is not a traditional IT role focused on helpdesk or infrastructure. The primary focus is on managing systems, workflows, and business operations, with IT as a supporting function.
