FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
@Southwest Louisiana Independence Center (@SLIC) is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSW) to provide care 9:00am to 4:00pm (Mon - Fri) & week 2 (MONDAY's ONLY) 9:00am to 4:00pm. This is for a disabled female in the Eunice, La area. The candidate must have a valid drivers license and must be able to safely drive the consumer to the store for shopping, and to doctors' appointments she also likes to go to events in the community of Eunice. The DSW do get mileage reimbursements.
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical care of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Drivers License
- Working Cell Phone with Data Plan (Must be able to download company apps)
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report and clean driving record

- Must have Patience, Compassion, Positive Attitude, and be a Team Player
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with cooking
- Assist with bathing/dressing
- Assist with Shopping
- Transport the consumer to appointments
- Med Reminder
PAY:
$9.00 per hour

Morning shift:
Monday Thursday, 8:00am-4:00pm- week 1
Mondays only 8:00am -4:00pm -week 2
