Job Description

About the Role

\n

\n

Ahead ABA is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team supporting clients and families across Montgomery County. This is a hybrid, part-time role for someone who wants meaningful clinical work without sacrificing flexibility — you'll be in the field with clients and caregivers, with the option to handle documentation and planning remotely.

\n

\n

You'll be joining a small, clinically-focused team where you're not just a name on a caseload. We care about getting treatment plans right, supporting our RBTs well, and making sure families actually understand and trust the process.

\n

\n

What You'll Do

\n

    \n
  • Conduct client assessments (FBAs, skill assessments) and develop individualized treatment plans
  • \n

  • Design and oversee ABA programs, reviewing data regularly and adjusting interventions based on progress
  • \n

  • Provide direct training and support to parents/caregivers so skills generalize outside of sessions
  • \n

  • Supervise and mentor RBTs, including regular fidelity checks and feedback
  • \n

  • Collaborate with schools and other providers on IEP goals and case coordination as needed
  • \n

  • Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation
  • \n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

    \n
  • Current BCBA certification (newly certified BCBAs are welcome to apply)
  • \n

  • Strong grasp of ABA principles and the ability to translate assessment data into practical interventions
  • \n

  • Comfortable training and supervising paraprofessionals
  • \n

  • Clear communicator — with families, with your team, and in your documentation
  • \n

  • Background or coursework touching special education, psychology, or curriculum development is a plus
  • \n

  • Based in or able to travel within Montgomery County, MD
  • \n

\n

Compensation & Logistics

\n

    \n
  • $100–$120/hour, part-time
  • \n

  • Hybrid: in-person client/family sessions, with flexibility for planning and documentation
  • \n

\n

If this sounds like the kind of clinical work you want to be doing — hands-on, well-supported, and genuinely useful to the families you work with — we'd like to hear from you.
