Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This per diem pharmacist opportunity offers a chance to take a lead role as the sole pharmacist on staff within a busy retail pharmacy environment. You will work closely with a dedicated team of two full-time pharmacy technicians to provide excellent medication services and patient care.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Columbia, MO
- Term: October 3rd through October 7th
- Schedule:
- Saturday, October 3: 8:45 AM – 2:15 PM
- Monday through Wednesday, October 5-7: 7:30 AM – 6:15 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient counseling to ensure understanding of prescribed medications
- Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Perform final verifications to maintain compliance and safety standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow
Qualifications:
- Current, clear, and active Missouri Pharmacist license
- Recent experience as a pharmacist preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
- Comfortable working independently as the sole pharmacist on shift
- Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is a plus, but willingness to learn is acceptable
