Weekend Specialist Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Overview:
We are looking to add Weekend Recreation Specialists to our Trillium Team; a unique opportunity to earn up to $1,500 by working just 2 weekends per month, on an every other weekend rotating schedule!
This is the perfect position for someone looking to earn some extra income, a secondary job, and/or employment that fits an academic schedule!
Weekend Recreational Specialist (DSP) Job Description:
As a Weekend Recreation Specialist (DSP), you'll work every other Friday through Sunday, spending a full 48 hours making a real difference in the lives of the people you support.
You'll be right there for the big moments and the everyday wins-helping with daily routines, cheering on accomplishments, and turning ordinary weekends into awesome adventures. You'll help plan the weekend with the person/people you support by bringing fresh ideas and energy to activities everyone can look forward to.
Plans are built around each person's interests and hobbies, so no two weekends are the same! One day you might be exploring the community on a scenic walk, trying out a favorite local restaurant, visiting a nearby museum, or catching the latest movie in theaters together. If you love building connections, getting out and about, and making weekends meaningful and memorable, this is the role for you!
Weekend Recreational Specialist (DSP) Schedule:
This position offers two weekend shifts per month; starting Friday afternoon and ending Sunday afternoon, with two paid asleep overnights included. This is typically a 48 hour shift, including 16 hours of asleep overnight scheduled. This is the perfect job for someone who works another job during the week, is in school, or who is looking for secondary employment that makes a difference! Every Other Weekend Rotating Schedule with flexible scheduling.
Weekend Specialist (DSP) Salary:
- $18.25/hour for awake hours (32 hours/weekend)
- $11.41/hour for asleep hours (16 hours/weekend) [when applicable]
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License & Use of an Insured Vehicle
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to pass a MN Background Study
- NO experience necessary we will train you on everything you need to learn!
