The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team can provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. The OCI Security organization is focused on ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is the safest and most reliable environment for development we can provide to our customers. It keeps up with the constantly evolving and challenging cyber-threat landscape, by developing novel solutions and products to prevent and mitigate cyber-attacks on the OCI. Within that organization, the OCI Security ML/AI team is chartered with end-to-end ML/AI solutions development and deployment. Our work includes everything, from initial data exploration and model development, to model deployment in production and model updates.
We are looking for a Software Development Manager to own the technology strategy, roadmap, and engineering organization within the OCI Security ML/AI team. The scope of the OCI Security ML/AI team includes both engineering and ML/AI research. As a Software Development Manager you will be responsive for driving engineering system design and strategy. You should be comfortable interacting and working together with applied scientists and researchers in building the next generation of security solutions for OCI. You should be experienced in building complex distributed systems that interact with a variety of services. You should enjoy building effective organizations, coaching and mentoring engineers, and representing your organization to senior leadership. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and a shifting landscape is a must.
