Conditionally Licensed Outpatient Therapist
Location: South Portland and Falmouth, Maine
Schedule: Full-time, hybrid
Compensation: $68,000–$80,000 annually

Position Overview:
Springborn Staffing is partnering with our growing outpatient behavioral health client in Southern Maine to hire a conditionally licensed therapist, to provide outpatient behavioral-health services to clients experiencing concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and OCD.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity combining telehealth with approximately two to three days per week in the South Portland and Falmouth offices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual outpatient therapy through in-person and telehealth appointments
- Develop and regularly submit treatment plans
- Build and manage an ongoing client caseload
- Monitor clinical units and meet the selected productivity tier
- Provide care to clients covered by MaineCare
- Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities based on each client's needs
- Participate in weekly individual supervision
- Attend regular practice meetings for training and operational updates
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Maine conditional clinical licensure, such as LMSW-CC, LCPC-C, LMFT, or another accepted clinical license
- Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth therapy
- Comfortable independently managing a schedule and developing a caseload
- Interest or experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, EMDR, or DBT preferred
- Previous direct patient/client interaction in behavioral health, psychiatric care, crisis services, or a related setting is beneficial
- Newer clinicians with appropriate clinical licensure will be considered
Caseload and Support:
Clinicians may select from two full-time productivity tiers, including approximately 22 sessions per week or a higher tier of approximately 28 sessions per week. The practice provides approximately one month of lead time to build the clinician's schedule and caseload.
The role is designed to remain clinically focused. Copay collection and billing functions are handled by a dedicated team. Administrative duties and collateral-contact requirements are limited.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting salary of approximately $68,000–$72,000 for the lower productivity tier
- Higher-tier compensation around $80,000 annually
