Summary
Professional person with strong customer service skills and teamwork abilities needed to ensure efficient parts flow and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
*Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, both in-person and over the phone, understand their needs, answer queries, provide quotes and timelines, and follow up on orders.
*Parts Identification: Indentify the correct parts using catalogs (physical and digital), understand part numbers.
*Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, create purchase orders, manage backorders, and ensure all parts are correctly labeled and priced.
*Order Processing: Place orders with suppliers, keep customers informed about their order.
*Technical Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of how parts function and relate to each other to advise customers and identify correct parts.
*Team Collaboration: Work effectively with technicians, service advisors, and other staff members to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
*Record Keeping: Maintain orderly records of repair orders, invoices, and special-order parts.
*Workplace Maintenance: Keep counter areas clean and uncluttered.
Qualifications

*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
*Prior experience in auto parts preferred.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
