Our client seeks multiple Paralegals to join their growing team.
The Paralegal position is a full-time, direct hire position where you will earn up to $65,000 per year based on your experience. You will work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, 100% onsite. Plus, enjoy an excellent benefits package.
As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for working with 1-3 attorneys, as well as:
- Communicating with clients and attorneys
- Drafting pleadings, motions, letters and other documents
- Reviewing and setting up new files
- Assisting with trial preparations
- Working with clerks and court attendants
- Filing documents with Iowa Courts Online, PACER and other public websites
- Assisting with preparing and answering discovery
- Perform other duties as assigned
To be considered for this Paralegal opportunity, you must have prior legal or law firm experience. In addition, you must have:
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Solid work ethic
- Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
