The Best Western Plus Kelly Inn & Suites is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Attendant to join our team in Billings, MT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel's laundry facilities, as well as ensuring that all linens and towels are washed, dried, and folded to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and pre-treat all soiled linens and towels
- Operate commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and folding machines
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals used in the laundry process
- Maintain inventory of all linens, towels, and cleaning supplies
- Report any maintenance issues with laundry equipment to the maintenance team
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are stocked with clean linens in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
