Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician (Temporary / Temp to Hire)

Location: Maplewood Apartments
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary with potential for long term or hire

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to support day to day property maintenance operations at a residential community. This role is ideal for a hands on individual with general handyman experience who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and functional living environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform unit turns, including basic repairs, painting, and cleaning

  • Pick up and maintain grounds around the property

  • Complete light electrical and plumbing repairs

  • Respond to routine maintenance requests

  • Assist with general upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks

  • Follow all safety procedures and property guidelines

Qualifications

  • General handyman or maintenance experience required

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and painting

  • Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks

  • Must pass a background check

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Reporting Structure

  • Reports onsite to the Property Manager

Pay Details: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour
