Our organization is actively looking for a board-eligible or board-certified orthopedic joint surgeon with fellowship training to become a part of our clinical team in Jackson Heights, located in Queens, NY. We particularly encourage applications from candidates who are fluent in Spanish.
The surgical responsibilities will primarily take place at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH), a community teaching hospital in Queens, NY. LIJFH features 312 beds and offers a range of inpatient medical and surgical services, intensive care, and women's health care. This facility is recognized as a Level II Perinatal Center, serves as a 911 receiving site, and is certified as a heart station and a designated Stroke Center by the state of New York. Furthermore, our Orthopedic Department has received advanced certification in total joint replacement from the Joint Commission. Our state-of-the-art facilities are staffed by exceptional professionals utilizing the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Qualifications for Candidates:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

Completion of an accredited residency in orthopedic surgery and a joint fellowship.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

Must hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of New York.

Fluency in Spanish is highly encouraged.

Compensation: The full-time clinical base salary at our organization ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, influenced by various factors such as specialty, experience level, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate of potential base compensation at the time of this job posting and may be subject to change in the future.
