Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem-solver with a strong background in both corrective and preventive maintenance. This role is critical to ensuring the continuous and efficient operation

Key Responsibilities: • Machine Maintenance: Independently perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on all components of plastic injection molding machines. This includes both mechanical and electrical systems. • Routine Tasks: Conduct routine maintenance activities, such as: o Checking and changing hydraulic oil. o Inspecting and replacing check rings, screws, and barrels. o Testing and replacing heater bands and thermocouples. • Auxiliary Equipment: Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a wide range of auxiliary equipment, including: o Material dryers o Thermolators o Water systems o Robots o Mule pumps • Troubleshooting & Collaboration: Work closely with process engineers and production technicians to diagnose and resolve machine problems. Use a systematic approach to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective solutions. • Lean/Continous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and increasing machine efficiency. • Electrical & PLC: Electrical maintenance, including reading schematics, replacing sensors and relays, diagnosing heater bands and thermocouples, troubleshooting control panels and circuit boards, etc. A solid understan

JOB INFORMATION

  • Starting Salary: $60K per year
  • Workweek: Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm
  • Criminal Background Check: Yes, applicants must be able to pass a Mexican and/or US CBC before departure from place of employment, arranged by the recruitment company.
  • Drug Test? No pre- employment DT required.
  • English Level Requirement: Preferred, but not obligatory.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications and Experience: • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician in a plastic injection molding environment. • Hands-on Skills: Proven ability to independently handle a variety of maintenance tasks on both mechanical and electrical systems. • Machine Variety: Experience maintaining and troubleshooting multiple brands of injection molding machines is required. Our facility includes Haitians, Toyos, Engels, Sumitomos, and Tederics. Do not need experience with all, but do need experience with more than one of these. • Education: An engineering degree is a plus but not
