Responsibilities include:

  • Measuring and recording vital signs and recording patients' healthcare history, maintenance, and chief complaint
  • Documenting all patient-related communication and interventions in the patient’s electronic record
  • Performing all duties in accordance with clinical, OSHA, and infection control standards
  • Preparing patients for examination and assisting physician during treatment, examinations, and testing of patients
  • Preparing, restocking, and disinfecting examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area, and all other patient care areas at scheduled intervals and as needed
  • Interpreting and carrying out provider orders
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing
  • Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments
  • Educating Patients by providing pre and post procedure information and brochures
  • Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
  • Takes medically relevant patient phone calls'
