Responsibilities include:
- Measuring and recording vital signs and recording patients' healthcare history, maintenance, and chief complaint
- Documenting all patient-related communication and interventions in the patient’s electronic record
- Performing all duties in accordance with clinical, OSHA, and infection control standards
- Preparing patients for examination and assisting physician during treatment, examinations, and testing of patients
- Preparing, restocking, and disinfecting examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area, and all other patient care areas at scheduled intervals and as needed
- Interpreting and carrying out provider orders
- Administer injections and assist with lab testing
- Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments
- Educating Patients by providing pre and post procedure information and brochures
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments.
