Join a collaborative educational team dedicated to supporting students with extensive support needs. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and foster student growth in an engaging learning environment.

Caseload

• Extensive Support Needs (ESN)
• Kindergarten – 4th Grade
• Approximately 14 students

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Provide specialized academic instruction for students with extensive support needs.
• Collaborate with related service providers, administrators, general education teachers, and families.
• Maintain IEP compliance, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Active California Education Specialist Credential – Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Mod/Severe (Required)
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with students with significant support needs is preferred.

Assignment Details

• Location: Lower Lake, California
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week plus 1 hour for staff meetings
• 186-day work calendar
• Caseload: ESN, Kindergarten–4th Grade (14 students)
• Number of Openings: 1
