Position Title: Maintenance Technician Facilities
Location: York, NE 68467
Anticipated Start Date: 12/01
Duration: 4-month contract with potential for extension
Shift: Sunday -Saturday, 6pm-6:30am with 2 on 3 off 3 on 2 off rotation.
Pay Rate: $ 23.00 (with $1 shift differential, if applicable)
Need: Must hold a valid driver’s license, be able to work at heights and in hands-on industrial environments, have basic Microsoft Office skills, lift up to 60 lbs, and be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts.

What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.
- Provide maintenance support for capital projects, ensuring equipment reliability and operational readiness.
- Maintain the plant shop, tools, and maintenance equipment in proper working condition.
- Assist with Process Safety Management initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
- Perform seasonal preparation activities, including annual preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements.
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of plant equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Conduct grounds and facility maintenance tasks as needed.
- Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to identify and prevent potential equipment issues.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver training on preventative maintenance plans for various systems and equipment.
- Complete fabrication projects to enhance plant processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and equipment drawings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability and willingness to work at elevated heights (25 feet or more) with proper fall protection.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Willingness to work in hands-on environments, including production floors, warehouse settings, and around machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and rotational shifts as needed.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with production agriculture and related machinery.
- Basic understanding of building electrical systems.
- Welding and/or millwright skills, especially relevant to seed or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, repair procedures, and test equipment.
- Basic understanding of process control systems.
- Two or more years of industrial electromechanical experience and/or technical education in mechanical, electrical, or related fields.
- Experience working with a CMMS system (e.g., SAP) for work orders and inventory management.

- Reliable transportation and the ability to report to the worksite as scheduled.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, honesty, and the ability to treat colleagues and stakeholders with respect.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Capability to work outdoors, navigate uneven surfaces, and perform the physical demands of the job including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 60 pounds.
