Job Description

Lead Bathroom Remodeler / Lead Installer

About Blueprint Builders

Blueprint Builders is a growing residential remodeling company specializing in bathroom remodels and one-day shower transformations.

Our WHY is simple:

We believe clear communication is the foundation of every good project.

We’re building a company around great people, exceptional customer experiences, high-quality work, and continuous improvement. As Blueprint Builders grows, we’re looking for people who want the opportunity to grow with it.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced residential remodeler who can become a key part of our production team.

This is not simply a position for someone who wants to show up, receive instructions, and complete assigned tasks.

We’re looking for someone with the construction experience, judgment, and character to eventually take ownership of projects, lead other installers, solve problems, and run jobs without the owner needing to be on-site every day.

You don’t need to know our exact shower systems or processes—we’ll train you on the Blueprint Builders way.

You do need substantial hands-on residential remodeling or carpentry experience and the ability to work independently.

For the right person, there is significant opportunity to take on greater responsibility as Blueprint Builders grows and adds additional crews.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete bathroom remodels and one-day shower transformations
  • Perform demolition and jobsite protection
  • Perform framing and general carpentry
  • Install tubs, shower bases, wall systems, vanities, trim, doors, accessories, and other bathroom components
  • Handle typical plumbing work associated with bathroom and shower replacements within the scope of the position
  • Perform drywall, patching, and finish work when required
  • Diagnose and solve unexpected remodeling conditions
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
  • Work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
  • Lead and train other installers as you develop in the position
  • Take responsibility for projects from start through final walkthrough
  • Follow Blueprint Builders’ installation processes and quality standards
  • Help identify ways to improve our systems and processes

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced remodeler who combines technical ability with strong character.

Qualifications:

  • Significant hands-on residential remodeling or carpentry experience
  • 5+ years of experience preferred, although demonstrated ability matters more than an arbitrary number of years
  • Bathroom remodeling experience strongly preferred
  • Strong general carpentry and remodeling skills
  • Ability to independently perform and troubleshoot residential remodeling work
  • Experience with shower/tub installation, framing, finish carpentry, drywall, basic bathroom plumbing, tile, or related trades is valuable
  • Ability to confidently and safely use common construction tools and equipment
  • Understanding of how the different trades involved in a bathroom remodel work together
  • Ability to read job conditions, identify problems, and develop solutions without constant supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Driving record acceptable for company vehicle use
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of residential remodeling
  • Professional communication and conduct while working inside customers’ homes
  • Willingness to learn and follow established company systems

You do not need to be an expert in every trade.

We’re looking for a strong, well-rounded remodeler who understands construction, knows how to solve problems, and is willing to continue learning.

The Person Matters

Technical skill alone isn’t enough.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Shows up reliably and on time
  • Takes pride in doing excellent work
  • Works with urgency without sacrificing quality
  • Takes ownership when something goes wrong
  • Accepts feedback and is willing to learn
  • Treats customers, coworkers, and their homes with respect
  • Keeps jobsites clean and organized
  • Communicates clearly
  • Helps teammates succeed
  • Looks for solutions instead of excuses
  • Wants to improve personally and professionally
  • Wants responsibility and the opportunity to grow

We would rather work with someone who has strong character and is still learning than someone with decades of experience who isn’t willing to work as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $30–$38/hour

Starting compensation will be based on experience, demonstrated ability, and the level of responsibility you can independently handle.

Additional benefits include:

  • Full-time W-2 employment
  • Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Primarily Monday–Friday schedule
  • 10 days of paid time off
  • 7 paid holidays
  • Paid training
  • Company-provided major and job-specific tools
  • Company work vehicle available as the role develops and qualifications are met
  • 30-, 60-, and 90-day performance reviews during the initial development period
  • Ongoing opportunities for increased compensation and responsibility based on performance and growth
  • Health insurance is not currently offered.
