Job DescriptionLHH is actively seeking a detail-oriented Application Support & Payroll Specialist for one of our top clients to provide technical application support while assisting with accurate and timely payroll processing. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data. This will be a contract to hire opportunity with our client!

- Office or call center experience a plus
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills

- Beginner to mid-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Essential Job Responsibilities
Application Support
- Provide application support by troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and delivering timely resolutions
- Document customer contacts, issues, and requests using the company's Service Desk issue tracking system
- Ensure proper documentation, timely follow-up, appropriate escalation, and resolution of reported issues
- Assist users with application navigation and system functionality
- Recognize the critical nature of business operations and work to meet service level agreement (SLA) expectations or provide acceptable workarounds when necessary
- Leverage system knowledge to research and resolve issues, and contribute to knowledge sharing by submitting FAQs or documentation for publication
- Communicate process improvement recommendations to management for review and approval
Payroll Support
- Review employee payroll data to ensure accuracy prior to paycheck processing
- Review and reconcile timekeeping data weekly, ensuring all time is entered and approved by supervisors
- Import and reconcile timekeeping hours into the payroll system on a weekly basis
- Accurately input weekly hourly and/or biweekly salaried payroll information, including overtime, deductions, and exceptions
- Prepare, reconcile, and transmit ADP payroll files and verify reconciliation reports for accuracy
- Investigate and respond to employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, allowances, or discrepancies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee data

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.78 per hour
