Job DescriptionDescription:INCUMBENTS ONLYLocations: Altus AFB
- Manages C-17 CLS operations and assigned personnel.
- Coordinates personnel, schedules, resources, and CLS activities to meet contract requirements.
- Assigns work and monitors quality, cost, schedule, and progress.
- Serves as the primary liaison with government representatives, customers, and the Prime Contractor Management Team.
- Ensures required documentation, reports, and contract deliverables are completed.
- Coordinates with department managers to ensure adequate personnel and resources are available.
- Supports CLS quality assurance, security, and information assurance requirements.
- Attends required program meetings and provides status updates.
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Candidate must currently be sitting in the position to be considered for this role.
- Candidate must currently be performing the duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7 years of recent management experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Previous experience in aviation, simulator maintenance, field service, maintenance, or logistics management is preferred.
- C-17 experience and knowledge of military or defense operations is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
- Must be capable of working effectively in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
- Must be willing to work any shift, including one weekend per month as required.
- Candidate must meet all applicable position, program, and site requirements.
