Join a dynamic metals fabrication shop that supports the concrete industry in Clackamas. We specialize in building forms and utilize a wide array of metals fabrication equipment, including laser and water jet tables, press brakes, welders, CNC mills, and lathes. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain our diverse range of equipment, excluding forklifts and overhead cranes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair various metals fabrication equipment.
- Perform full teardowns and troubleshoot large scale equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Ensure equipment is in optimal working condition through regular maintenance checks.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including full teardowns.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and equipment maintenance.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Skills in welding and fabricating.
- Experience in PLC and electrical troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with CNC maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure a good fit with the team.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean and organized job shop environment. Day shift hours are 6am-4:30pm from Monday to Thursday, with additional hours from 8am-12pm on Fridays as needed. It is crucial to maintain a harmonious work environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
