This remote position supports K-12 learners across multiple school sites, working alongside passionate educational professionals. This full-time contract runs from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers the flexibility of virtual service delivery.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current NC licensure for SLP and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with school-aged children, especially in K-12 settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, educators, and IEP teams
- Proficiency working remotely using teletherapy platforms
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting therapeutic approaches
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, effective speech-language therapy sessions virtually
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates to all stakeholders
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into school environments
- Attend virtual meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed
- Adapt materials and activities to best suit various ages and ability levels
