Job Description

Make a real difference in students’ lives by providing essential speech and language therapy services during the upcoming school year! This remote position supports K-12 learners across multiple school sites, working alongside passionate educational professionals. This full-time contract runs from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers the flexibility of virtual service delivery.

Key Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
Current NC licensure for SLP and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Experience with school-aged children, especially in K-12 settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, educators, and IEP teams
Proficiency working remotely using teletherapy platforms
Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse learners and adapting therapeutic approaches

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify student needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Deliver engaging, effective speech-language therapy sessions virtually
Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates to all stakeholders
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy into school environments
Attend virtual meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed
Adapt materials and activities to best suit various ages and ability levels
