Our client is seeking a Road Mechanic/Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs on equipment at customer job sites. This role offers variety, independence, and the chance to work on a wide range of equipment including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and specialty construction tools.

Work Schedule: Onsite | Full-time | Mon-Fri, with occasional Saturday rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide and maintain personal mechanic tools.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Document service work accurately in logs and maintenance systems.
• Collaborate with customers and team members in a safety focused environment.
• Perform onsite maintenance and repair of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.+, bend/crouch, and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL may be required in some locations)
• 2+ years of mechanical experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil/gas)

Preferred Skills:

• ASE or IFPS Certification.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages)
• Military background with transferable MOS/AFSC/NEC codes.
• Trade school or technical training in mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience with aerial work platforms, construction tools, or largescale equipment.
