The Guyer Laboratory at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is seeking creative and highly-motivated postdoctoral scholars interested in studying the developmental origins of pediatric solid tumors.

Responsibilities
\n
<ul>\n
<li>Designing and executing experiments&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Collecting and analyzing data&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Assisting&nbsp;with writing and revising manuscripts, grant proposals, abstract submission, and publications&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Mentoring and collaborating with graduate students and research assistants&nbsp;</li>
\n</ul>
\n
 
\n
Qualifications
\n
<ul>\n
<li>MD or PhD in related discipline</li>
\n
<li>Expertise in&nbsp;routine molecular and cell culture techniques</li>
\n
<li>Experience working with fish and/or rodent&nbsp;models of development and disease</li>
\n
<li>Experience with bioinformatic methods and coding</li>
\n
<li>Excellent laboratory and analytical skills</li>
\n
<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>
\n</ul>
